Faculty

Each
department has members of staff who are responsible for co-ordinating graduate
affairs within the department. This includes decisions on
applications, module choice, changes in programme, and examination procedures.
Most departments also have Graduate Studies Committees which include student
representation and give postgraduates the opportunity to raise and discuss
issues affecting them.
The faculties provide detailed web pages on the framework for postgraduate study
within the faculty, and advice on what you need to know
about general academic matters.
Programs

WMU has
a wide and growing range of programmes with a particular European focus in areas
such as European culture and languages,
drama, politics, law, economics, business and
migration.
An increasing number of our
postgraduate programmes offer dual UK and European qualifications (international
double awards).
These include: MA European
Governance; MA Intercultural Relations; MSc
International Management; MA Conflict, Peace
and Identity; and PhDs in a variety of subject
areas.

Our
policy governs most WMU programs. That is, the university will
accept applications from all over the world and announce admissions decisions
continually throughout the year which may be checked from our website.
